The prompt this week, week 4 of the 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks Challenge, is “Close to Home”.
Here is a good story for you about being “Close to Home”.
My great-aunt Hazel Wheeler Blauth was born in a small town in Missouri.
She was an educator, both as a teacher and an administrator.
She was also a young woman who loved to write, take photos and tell stories.
This story is from her told in photos.
I have titled this series of photos:
“Simple Things, Happy Things, Close to Home”
Homeward Bound at the End of a Perfect Day.
Take a minute to think about your life and your best memories. Where were you?
Sometimes your favorite memories and stories are about things that happened close to home.
Why not start a journal or memory book with your best stories to share with your family?
Visit our sister site, Passing Down the Love, for more information about sharing family stories.
